The plant supplies electricity to Bangladesh under a long-term power purchase agreement, positioning it as a critical cross-border infrastructure asset. Its operational model reflects India’s expanding role in regional energy trade.

As Bihar strengthens its industrial and manufacturing sectors, reliable energy supply will be essential to sustaining economic growth. The upcoming plant is expected to support increasing electricity consumption driven by urban expansion and infrastructure development.
